Working Environment: Hybrid, Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday to Thursday in the office. The office is located in Bucharest (north).

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, and ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. The PM plays a critical role in driving projects forward by facilitating Agile ceremonies, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders, development teams, and business objectives.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Experience with project management tools (Azure DevOps) and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams).
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Create detailed schedules and manage scope changes. Establish success criteria and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Team Coordination and Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional teams, track team performance, and offer guidance and mentorship.
• Stakeholder Communication and Management: Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders, manage expectations, organize regular updates, and resolve conflicts.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks, maintain a risk register, and resolve issues proactively.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, conduct regular reviews, and drive continuous improvement by implementing feedback.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource utilization, provide performance reports, and adjust resource allocation based on project needs.
• Process Optimization and Standardization: Standardize project management processes, document best practices, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Prioritization and Focus: Use prioritization frameworks to focus on critical tasks and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration and Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, open communication culture and encourage teamwork and learning.
• Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Track project progress using KPIs, provide data-driven insights, and support decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Software Development: Assist in strategic planning, product roadmap development, and overall department management as needed.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, project management methodologies, and emerging tools and technologies to ensure that project management practices remain current and effective.
